Enable/Disable or Delete a Sales Discount

Disable a Sales Discount:

  1. Select an existing Sales Discount that you want to disable.
  2. Click
  3. Click Disable.

4. A message and a status will appear if the discount is disabled successfully.

The Edit will not be visible if the Discount is currently disabled. Also, a disabled discount cannot be applied on any quotation and sales order.

Enable a Sales Discount:

  1. Select a disabled Sales Discount that you want to enable.
  2. Click
  3. Click Enable.

4. A message and a status will appear if the discount is enabled successfully.

Delete a Sales Discount:

  1. Select an existing Sales Discount that you want to delete.
  2. Click
  3. Click Delete.

Why Delete a Discount?

  • It is erroneously created
  • It is never used
  • To stop it from appearing in the drop-downs.

4. A Delete confirmation dialog will appear. Click Delete to remove the existing discount record or click Cancel to terminate your action.

5. A message will appear if the Discount is deleted successfully.

You cannot Delete a discount if it was already tagged in the transactions. This can be verified by the Total Transaction section in the discount showpage.
