Inventory Movement Summary Report

Inventory Movement Summary report gives a summary of the inventory quantity and inventory cost within the date indicated. This gives an overview of the beginning inventory count and quantity, the ending inventory count and quantity, and the corresponding inventory count and quantity added/subtracted within that timeframe.

Report Filters

  • Date From – This filter will show transactions of products from the date selected.
  • Date To – This filter will show transactions of products up to the date selected.
  • Location – This filter will show all products of the warehouse/s selected.
  • Category – This filter will show all products of the category selected.
  • Product – This filter will show all products selected.
  • Brand – This filter will show all products of the brand selected.

Inventory Movement Summary Report Columns

  • Product – This column shows all products and its SKU.
  • Location – This column shows all warehouses with product quantities.
  • Beginning Inventory Quantity – This column shows the product quantity in the beginning relative to Date From.
  • Beginning Inventory Cost – This column shows the product inventory cost in the beginning relative to Date From.
  • Quantity In – This column shows the quantity count added from Date From to Date To.
  • Inventory Cost In – This column shows the product inventory cost added from Date From to Date To.
  • Quantity Out – This column shows the quantity count subtracted from Date From to Date To.
  • Inventory Cost Out – This column shows the product inventory cost subtracted from Date From to Date To.
  • Ending Inventory Quantity – This column shows the product quantity in the end relative to Date To.
  • Ending Inventory Cost — This column shows the product inventory cost in the beginning relative to Date From.

Export Inventory Movement Summary Report to PDF or Excel

  1. In the Inventory Movement Summary Report, click Export. 
  2. There are two Export options: Export to PDF and Export to Excel. Click your desired format. 
  3. Upon clicking your desired formatthe file will be automatically downloaded to your computer.
  4. You may also view the Export History by clicking View Export History.
